I visited Meet Bros recently and had a good experience overall. I ordered the lamb shank, which was cooked well and very tender. My friend had the Angus striploin, and while it was juicy and nicely prepared, the medium steak came out closer to medium-rare, something to keep in mind when ordering.The service was pleasant; our server was polite and friendly without being intrusive.Meet Bros is a solid choice if you’re looking for a relaxed place with well-made dishes.

Service was bad. Our table was wobbly which was fixed then we had to wait too long for our starters and our starter plates were removed before even we were served the starter! We had to ask again for eating the pulled duck. I requested I n my reservation that I would like a dessert to celebrate my friend’s birthday but it was completely ignored. Never going back or recommending anyone

Nice cozy place underground, i ordered the angus burger that was excellent and the lamb shank which was absolutely delicious and tender.Irish was our waitress and she was very kind and hospitable.

staff were lovely and so was the atmosphere, however the prices do not reflect the ambiance or the food of this restaurant, very overpriced for the quality of food being served. i wouldn’t come back for the steaks they were very much average but the lamb shank was nice.

We visited Monday evening with a table booked - The server who took our order was not very pleasant to deal with. First, he was not making any attempt to take our order and just stood there expressionless whilst we read our order - we had to even ask what sauces were available along the steak we ordered. He was a very tall gentlemen and didn't make any effort to come closer so we can hear him or see his face. After we go through a £130 order - he forgot to order the angus burger - which then subsequently came late.

From the outside this restaurant looks underwhelming. However, once you step inside, go downstairs to the seating area, the cosy, welcoming ambience is clearly apparent.The service was impressive with the waiters accommodating us extremely well (they turned the music off in the section we were sat without being asked to), in addition to their recommendations of must-try menu items (the speciality tea is a must!)The food was cooked really well and was very flavourful. Highly recommended the steak, as pictured. They also have a dedicated prayer room for both men and women, which really was the cherry-on-top of an enjoyable evening.

I’ve been here a few times, always remembered how good the food and atmosphere is. So I went with my children for my birthday lunch. When booking there’s an option to describe the occasion, usually I don’t bother but since my children were with me I wanted them to feel special so I wrote that it’s my birthday and I’m coming with children.I expected a warm welcome, but the man at the front was polite - but a bit bland and unbothered, he left the menus and didn’t even say which menu is which and walked off, he didn’t tell me there’s a coat hanger either and my cutlery wasn’t in front of me (these things add to the experience) and when we sat down the waitresses were hovering over us just wondering when we’ll order but no conversation or welcoming chat but I was suddenly overwhelmed by the “ready to order?”. Almost felt rushed and anxious by their energy, it wasn’t busy but other staff came passing by and removed my menu after I had just ordered my starter. Then, again our cutlery went missing. It all felt very alien to what I’m used to for the £ I’m spending, a bit more enthusiasm about the menu would’ve been nice, and encouraging for me to order something memorable - I was looking to enjoy and eat as it’s my birthday but it just made me want to get out of there as soon as and eat for the sake of eating. It wasn’t an experience at all and I’m regretting spending the amount I did on my birthday as I’ve come away feeling so underwhelmed by the whole experience today. Really sorry, it’s not a reflection of the food or business but maybe whoever is managing staff. (Forgive me for saying this) the body odour from some waiting staff was so strong I was really distracted and frustrated by it. Like I said, it adds to the experience, people come to central London for a different environment.I will say that they did bring out a candle on the dessert I had ordered which I’m grateful for but I wasn’t able to express my gratitude because of the lead up to it. I left the restaurant with a bitter taste in my mouth, frustrated by the lack of service and enthusiasm from staff. I had to get this off my chest as it’s not what I’m used to here.
